Samuel Ekpa is a Nigerian of the Ibibio extraction who was born on August 2, 1950. He attended the following schools and obtained the following certificates: Ikono Methodist School, Ikot Idaha from 1955 to 1962 -First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC); Methodist Boy’s Secondary School, Nto Ndang, 1963-1967; Methodist Secondary School, Odot, 1969; WASC; University of Lagos, 1976-1979, BSc. Pol. Science; University of Lagos, 1989, Masters in International Law and Diplomacy (MILD). Work Experiences: Administrative Officer, Cross River State Civil Service, 1980-1981; Diplomatic Service, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, September 1981-August 2010. During this period of years, he served the country in various capacities and conferences in a series of multilateral and bilateral engagements. He also served in some Nigerian Diplomatic Missions including: Jakarta, Indonesia; London, United Kingdom; Cotonou, Benin Republic and Yaounde, Cameroon. Upon Retiring honourably in 2010, he has been mostly involved in Social and Community service and in Missions work.
