Mr. Ahmed Ismaila is a seasoned professional with a robust background in sales management and environmental research. Born on February 14, 1960, in Yola Town, Adamawa State, he has cultivated a diverse skill set over his extensive career. Mr. Ismaila is proficient in various computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, which support his effective communication and organizational abilities.
His work experience spans several notable positions, including his current role as Country Representative at Geoenvironmental Design & Research Ltd since 2016. Prior to this, he played a pivotal role as the Secretary for the PDP Presidential and Governorship Campaign Organisation during the 2015 elections in Adamawa State. Mr. Ismaila’s tenure at Dangote Flour Mills Plc from 2004 to 2012 as an Area Sales Manager allowed him to oversee operations across multiple states, enhancing his strategic management skills.
Between 1985 and 2000, he served as a Purchasing Officer and Assistant Marketing Manager at New Nigerian Newspapers Ltd, where he honed his marketing acumen. After a brief period of self-employment from 2012 to 2016, he expanded his qualifications with a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management and several non-certificated courses from the World Bank Group, focusing on development finance.
Mr. Ismaila’s academic journey includes a Higher Diploma in Business Administration (Marketing) from Fanshawe College, Canada, and foundational education from General Murtala Muhammed College in Yola.
